We’re looking for a commercially aware and highly organised Marketing Executive who understands the intermediary market and the challenges advisers face.

Whether your experience comes from marketing, sales support, business development, or another role within wealth management or a financial adviser firm, you’ll bring valuable insight into this audience and what matters to them.

Working closely with colleagues across Rathbones and our wider B2B marketing team, you’ll play a key role in delivering impactful marketing activity, creating and managing marketing materials, coordinating webinars, and ensuring every initiative aligns with our business objectives.

  • What you’ll be responsible for
  • Support the development and execution of marketing campaigns targeting intermediaries, such as IFAs and wealth managers.
  • Assist in the creation of campaign materials, including digital content, email marketing, social media posts, and print materials.
  • Coordinate with internal teams, including sales and product development, to ensure that campaigns align with business objectives.
  • Monitor campaign performance metrics and provide reports to senior marketing staff, offering insights and recommendations for improvement.
  • Work with the Campaign Execution Manager on the logistics of digital campaigns, including setting up email workflows, managing social media accounts, and coordinating webinar promotions.
  • Assist in the production and delivery of content for events, webinars, and in-person engagements, ensuring high levels of participation and engagement.
  • Ensure brand consistency across all campaigns, working closely with the brand team to adhere to guidelines and messaging standards.
  • Collaborate with external vendors, such as creative agencies and event organisers, to ensure the timely delivery of campaign assets.
  • Conduct market research and competitor analysis to inform campaign strategy and targeting efforts.
  • Stay informed on industry trends and incorporate these insights into campaign planning.

About you

  • Knowledge of financial services, investments and the intermediary market, with a desire to build knowledge of financial advisers, wealth managers and their clients further—essential.
  • Strong communication skills, with the ability to create clear, engaging and accurate content for professional audiences.
  • Good organisational skills and the ability to manage multiple tasks, projects and deadlines simultaneously.
  • An understanding of the importance of delivering a positive client and adviser experience across all touchpoints.
  • Confidence working with a range of stakeholders and collaborating effectively with colleagues across marketing, sales and investment teams.
  • Strong attention to detail and the ability to work accurately within a regulated environment.
  • Creative problem‑solving skills, with the ability to use data and feedback to make recommendations and improve future activity.
  • Experience using Salesforce Marketing Cloud, Salesforce, or a similar email marketing platform is essential.
  • Familiarity with digital communication channels, including email, CRM systems, websites and social media platforms.
  • An understanding of the importance of brand consistency and maintaining clear, compliant communications.
