About the Role
Lead the Commercial Learning strategy across Rathbones, translating business priorities into high-impact learning solutions that drive growth, client outcomes and capability development. Own the design and delivery of commercial, sales and business systems learning, ensuring alignment with the People Strategy and wider organisational goals.
What you’ll be responsible for
- Strategy & Leadership
- Define and deliver a business-led Commercial Learning strategy aligned to growth priorities
- Lead and develop a team delivering front office and business systems training
- Ensure learning priorities reflect evolving business needs and transformation programmes
- Commercial & Sales Capability
- Lead development of commercial and sales learning (e.g. Rathbones Institute, Growth & Commercial Excellence)
- Partner with stakeholders to translate business needs into targeted learning interventions
- Build internal communities of best practice and enable ‘just in time’ learning support
- Learning Delivery & Programmes
- Oversee consultancy, design, delivery and evaluation of all commercial learning initiatives
- Manage business-critical projects (e.g. Salesforce, Copilot, digital fluency)
- Ensure consistent, high-quality learning experiences across the organisation
- Stakeholder & Supplier Management
- Build strong relationships across front office and senior stakeholders
- Manage external providers and identify innovative learning solutions
- Governance & Impact
- Embed Consumer Duty principles in all learning activity
- Establish reporting and evaluation to evidence business impact
- Manage prioritisation of learning demand and project pipeline
About you
