About the Role

In this role you will work as part of the UK Intermediary Distribution team providing proactive field sales support to a number of regional intermediary clients. The candidate will work closely with Area Head and other BDDs as well as other senior distribution colleagues on agreed parameters to deliver against sales targets and business objectives.

What you’ll be responsible for:

  • Representing Rathbones Intermediary Teams, the candidate will develop relationships externally with a range of developing regional adviser and wealth management accounts.
  • Build relationships with the market described above.
  • Ensure consistent communication on Markets and RB products and services and deal with specific enquiries on both a reactive and proactive basis.
  • Solely manage growth accounts from the region as well as supporting the BDDs in your region with wider sales and relationship tasks.
  • Coordinate regional data with BDDs.
  • Devise, action and review a sales strategy and Business Plan for your defined client market that supports the Business Plan.
  • Proactively follow-up and support sales activities generated by BDDs in region.
  • Plan, organise and conduct regular sales visits, presentations, and face to face contact to develop relationships and generate sales.
  • Deliver an agreed level of new business in line with the team sales target.
  • Build appropriate internal relationships with key stakeholders to facilitate external introductions where appropriate.
  • Provide market feedback from key accounts to the business.
  • Communicate client panel and preferences for internal and national coordination.

  • Strong investment understanding across a range of solutions, including asset management and DFM solutions.
  • Have experience working in a similar role in Financial Services, the Investment or Wealth Management industry.
  • Hold IMC qualification.
