Requirements

  • Deep, hands‑on knowledge of SAP SuccessFactors Employee Central and the wider platform layer, including MDF objects, business rules, workflows, Role‑Based Permissions, picklists, data models, and configuration dependencies across modules.
  • Hands‑on integration experience, including building or maintaining integrations between SuccessFactors and third‑party systems.
  • Experience supporting, configuring, and troubleshooting integrations using Intelligent Services, Integration Centre, APIs, and other approved integration approaches.
  • Experience configuring and optimising Microsoft Teams integration within SuccessFactors.
  • Experience configuring and supporting SAP AI‑enabled platform capabilities.
  • Strong understanding of environment management and transport principles, including moving configuration from Dev/Preview to Production.
  • Proven ability to design and execute User Acceptance Testing, including writing test scripts, managing defects, and driving resolution.
  • Excellent stakeholder communication skills, with the ability to explain technical solutions to non‑technical audiences through playbacks, demos, and documentation.
  • Governance and compliance mindset, with an understanding of change management, approvals, and audit trails.
  • Ability to own a body of work end‑to‑end across design, configuration, testing, deployment, and playback.
  • Strong problem‑solving and analytical skills with a solutions‑oriented approach.

Responsibilities

  • Translate requirements, priorities, and design direction into practical configuration changes.
  • Assess configuration options, dependencies, and constraints across SuccessFactors modules, highlighting risks, assumptions, and impacts.
  • Provide technical input, feasibility insight, and configuration recommendations within the agreed roadmap and governance framework.
  • Carry out hands‑on configuration, including business rules, permissions updates, workflow amendments, field changes, template updates, and related technical build activity.
  • Prepare and deliver configuration playbacks to the People Systems Lead and relevant SMEs.
  • Support unit testing, system testing, and user acceptance testing by preparing test scenarios and resolving defects.
  • Package, document, and deploy approved changes in line with change control, release management, and environment management processes.
  • Maintain technical documentation, including configuration notes, build specifications, test evidence, deployment notes, and support handover materials.
  • Investigate system issues, troubleshoot defects, and provide technical analysis to support incident resolution, enhancements, and continuous improvement.
  • Work collaboratively with the People Systems Lead, internal SMEs, IT teams, and external AMS partners to progress technical delivery and maintain system stability.
