This is an exciting opportunity to work at the heart of Rathbones Investment Management International (RIMI), partnering closely with the Chief Operating Officer and gaining exposure to senior leaders across the business.
Acting as a key link between our Channel Islands business and UK-based teams, including Investment Management, Operations, Finance and Treasury, you'll play a pivotal role in supporting strategic initiatives, driving projects forward and helping deliver RIMI's business objectives.

What you'll be responsible for:
- Partnering closely with the Chief Operating Officer (COO) to help deliver RIMI's strategic priorities and long-term business goals.
- Acting as a trusted support to the COO, coordinating key priorities and ensuring critical initiatives are delivered successfully.
- Producing high-quality briefings, presentations and Board papers that help shape senior leadership discussions and decision-making.
- Conducting meaningful research and analysis to provide insights that influence business strategy and drive continuous improvement.
- Tracking progress against strategic objectives, KPIs and action plans, helping to keep the business focused on its key priorities.
- Playing a central role in delivering high-profile projects and strategic initiatives sponsored by the COO.
- Managing project plans, milestones and dependencies to ensure initiatives remain on track and achieve their intended outcomes.
- Proactively identifying challenges and risks, helping to resolve issues and maintain delivery momentum.
- Supporting the successful implementation of business change initiatives, ensuring teams are informed, engaged and ready for change.
- Providing clear and insightful project updates to senior stakeholders, giving visibility of progress and key achievements.
- Building strong relationships across RIMI, the wider Rathbones Group and external partners, developing a broad and influential network.
- Drafting communications and briefing materials on behalf of the COO, helping to engage stakeholders and drive alignment across the business.
- Facilitating cross-functional meetings and workshops, bringing together colleagues from different teams to deliver shared objectives.
- Ensuring actions and decisions are effectively tracked through to completion, helping to drive accountability and results.
- Supporting engagement with regulators, auditors and third-party providers, gaining valuable exposure to the governance and oversight of a regulated investment business.
About you:

- A strong understanding of the financial services regulatory landscape in Jersey and Guernsey.
- Knowledge of corporate governance frameworks, Board reporting and committee structures within a regulated environment.
- Experience of delivering projects and business change initiatives, with knowledge of project management methodologies.
- An appreciation of operational risk management and the importance of robust controls and oversight.
- Knowledge of AML, CFT and CPF requirements, together with the regulatory expectations placed on financial services firms.
- Familiarity with audit, compliance monitoring and regulatory remediation activities.
- An understanding of business continuity, outsourcing arrangements and third-party oversight frameworks.
- Strong analytical skills, with the ability to interpret business performance reporting, management information and key performance indicators.
- Good commercial awareness and financial literacy, with the ability to understand budgets, financial reports and business performance metrics.
- Excellent organisational skills, with the ability to prioritise competing demands and maintain attention to detail.
- Proven project management and delivery capability, combined with strong commercial acumen and a proactive approach to problem-solving.
