Working from requirements, priorities and solution direction provided by the People Systems Lead, the role translates agreed requirements into high-quality system configuration, validates changes through playbacks and testing, and supports controlled deployment as part of the ongoing optimisation of the People technology landscape. Specialising in Employee Central core configuration through practical, hands-on knowledge of the wider SuccessFactors platform and integration landscape, including Intelligent Services, Integration Centre, Microsoft Teams integrations, and relevant third-party integration options. Prepare and deliver configuration playbacks to the People Systems Lead and relevant SMEs, clearly explaining what has been built, how it works and any areas requiring decision or validation. Support unit testing, system testing and user acceptance testing by preparing test scenarios, resolving defects and ensuring configuration behaves as expected. Package, document and deploy approved changes in line with change control, release management and environment management processes.
- Documentation, Support & Continuous Improvement: Maintain clear technical documentation, including configuration notes, build specifications, test evidence, deployment notes and support handover materials. Investigate system issues, troubleshoot defects and provide technical analysis to support incident resolution, enhancements and continuous improvement activity. Work collaboratively with the People Systems Lead, internal SMEs, IT teams and external AMS partners where required to progress technical delivery and maintain system stability.
About you:
- Deep, hands-on knowledge of SAP SuccessFactors Employee Central and the wider platform layer, including MDF objects, business rules, workflows, Role-Based Permissions, picklists, data models, and configuration dependencies across modules.
- Support, configure, and troubleshoot integrations between SuccessFactors and third-party systems, using appropriate tools such as Intelligent Services, Integration Centre, APIs, and other approved integration approaches.
- Configure and optimise Microsoft Teams integration within SuccessFactors to support full platform adoption, improve user experience, and enable seamless access to HR processes and employee data where appropriate.

- Excellent stakeholder communication; able to explain technical solutions to non-technical audiences through clear playbacks, demos, and documentation.
- Governance and compliance mindset; you understand why change management, approvals, and audit trails matter, and you operate accordingly.
- Ownership of a body of work end-to-end: Support and take feedback for design, configure, test, deploy, and playback.
