About the Role

An exciting opportunity has arisen for an Administrator to join our supportive, dynamic team in the Bournemouth office. The team provides a Wealth Advisory Service in relation to retirement planning, estate planning, investments and protection.

In this varied role you will support the team of Planners and Paraplanners across our Bournemouth and Guildford offices. You will need to be able to work flexibly to pick up a wide variety of tasks to allow us to provide our clients with the highest standard of service. This is a fantastic opportunity to begin on the career path to becoming a Financial Planner in the future should you wish to do so. Previous experience in Wealth or Financial Planning administration is beneficial, but if you have similar industry knowledge then we would like to hear from you.

What you'll be responsible for

  • Preparing documentation for Planners in advance of their client meetings, including requesting valuations and policy details.
  • Request specific policy information from product providers, 3rd parties via email, telephone and online.
  • Sending Letters of Authority (LOAs) to clients and tracking progress of policy information received.
  • Working alongside Paraplanners to ensure they have sufficient policy information to compile advice reports.
  • Liaise with providers and Paraplanners to prepare documentation for advice reports.
  • Liaise closely with our centralised Financial Planning Administration team regarding new business submissions and ongoing cases.
  • Responsibility for post-sale process for clients.
  • Client contact via letters, emails and telephone.
  • Pre-completing forms/documentation for sending to clients.
  • Maintenance of client records (on Xplan) to ensure client data is up to date.
  • Completing client workflows and tasks in XPlan in line with company policy.
  • Working in line with company compliance processes and documentation requirements.
  • Working alongside the investment managers and their teams, coordinating annual reviews for joint investment management and financial planning clients.
