The Procurement Administrator provides essential administrative, operational, and data-management support to the Procurement & Supplier Management function. The role ensures that procurement processes, third-party records, and management information are accurate, complete, and audit-ready, and that colleagues across the business are supported in complying with the Group’s procurement and third-party risk frameworks.
Outcomes for the role:
- Ensure Procurement and supplier records are complete, accurate, and audit-ready.
- Provide support to Business to ensure processes are consistently followed across all business areas.
- Third-party risk workflows and registers are maintained and up to date.
- Provide management information in a timely, reliable, and accurate format to support effective oversight.
- Colleagues receive clear administrative support and stakeholders are provided guidance on procurement processes.
- Maintain structured electronic filing and archiving in line with information governance standards.
- Provide flexible administrative support to the team during periods of high activity or change.
Skills and knowledge:
- Strong administrative and organisational skills with high attention to detail.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint), including basic reporting and data handling.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines in a structured, methodical way.
- Clear written and verbal communication skills.
- Understanding of the importance of governance, documentation, and audit trails.
- Understanding of any or all procurement, supplier management, finance, or accounts payable principles and processes.
Professional experience and qualifications:
- Worked in a procurement/supplier management/finance/accounts payable role, ideally 3 years experience.
- Financial services industry exposure ideal.
- Knowledge of FCA, PRA, EBA regulatory guidance and requirements for outsourcing and third-party risk management (desirable).
