The Role
To provide comprehensive administration support to ensure effective and efficient operations of the team to deliver an excellent customer service. Demonstrate compliance with internal policies, procedures and regulatory framework on a timely basis in accordance with Select terms of business, procedures and Conduct operational processes to ensure the administration of client accounts from account opening through their life cycle, accurately and on a timely basis. This will include the following activities, which is not an exhaustive list.
Outcomes of the Role
- Manage client administration processes in a timely and efficient manner, ensuring accuracy of data, tasks include:
- Client on boarding
- Client Information Forms
- Client account opening and amendments
- Managing the retention of client documentation
- Tracking and chasing clients for outstanding documentation
- Liaising with Investment Managers and Investment Financial Advisers
- Updating internal systems
- Dispatch of client documentation to clients on request
- Answering client phone calls and providing answers / information to clients
- Communicate effectively within the team and external teams
- Undertake any other duties that may be reasonably required
To carry out processes and procedures within the business area ensuring these meet with CASS regulations highlighting any issues or concerns to line management as appropriate. Become SME in all areas of SP to provide support for colleagues.
Knowledge, Skills and Experience
- Experience working in a similar role in Financial Services would be of interest but is not essential
- GCSE in English and Maths grade C or above (or equivalent)
- Strong working knowledge of MS Office including Excel
- Methodical with a good attention to detail
- Strong written and verbal skills
- Understanding of the regulatory environment in which we operate.
