Rated is on a mission to keep the world's machines aligned and accountable. Rated Labs, the developer behind Rated, was founded in 2022. In the two years since founding, we have built the Rated Explorer into a category-defining and well-loved product among Node Operators in Web3. In reality, the work has only just begun!
The role: We are looking for a Senior Platform Engineer to join Rated Labs. You will be spearheading the effort to integrate a new and exciting product with a series of APM stacks. You will be part of a talent-dense, multidisciplinary team, with strong product sensibility and user-mindedness, backed by some of the premier investors in the industry.
The skills:
- Proven experience as a DevOps Engineer, Site Reliability Engineer, Platform Engineer or similar role, ideally in an enterprise-grade environment.
- Experience with APM stacks such as Datadog, New Relic, Prometheus or similar.
- Experience with handling telemetry, tracing and logging data, at scale, in multiple different environments.
- Familiarity with low-level telemetry daemons and aggregators such as StatsD.
- Proficient with Python; experience with Go is a plus.
- Strong fundamentals in Infrastructure-as-Code and CI/CD pipelines.
- Bonus points for experience with SOC-2, ISO 27001 or similar.
The person:
- 3+ years of experience as a DevOps Engineer, Site Reliability Engineer, Platform Engineer or similar role.
- You have a good understanding of the overall industry state of the art in terms of architecture components and stacks.
- You are ambitious, intellectually curious, maniacal about details but at the same time value the elegance in simplicity.
- You thrive working in multidisciplinary teams.
- Ideally based anywhere between CET-1 and CET+1.

We’re a highly technical 12 person team (and growing!), working in a hybrid/remote set-up, with a home base in London, UK.
