HomelessPreventionOfficerAsanexperiencedpractitioner,youwillhaveexcellentworkingknowledgeofPart7oftheHousingAct1996andtheHomelessnessReductionAct2017.AtypicaldayworkinginourHomelessnessPreventionTeamwillinvolvemanagingacaseload,usingaperson-centredapproachtoundertakedetailedhousingoptionsandsupportneedsassessmentsandtakeactionstopreventhomelessnessandmakingstatutoryhomelessdeterminationsundertheHRA.Primarilyyouwillworkalongsidethoseatriskofhomelessnessandcollaboratewithinternalandexternalpartnersincludingaccommodationprovidersandcommunitysafetyteams.
HomelessPreventionOfficerInadditiontoyourexistingexperienceandskills,youwillapplyatraumainformedapproachtoprovideaneffectivehomelessnesspreventionserviceforindividualsandfamilies,manyofwhomhavemultipleandcomplexvulnerabilities.
