Executive Assistant The Executive Assistant to the Chief Executive provides high-level, proactive and confidential executive support to the Chief Executive, enabling the effective leadership and delivery of the Council's strategic priorities and corporate objectives. The role acts as a trusted coordination point between the Chief Executive, Members, Senior Leadership Team, external stakeholders and partner organisations.

Executive Assistant As part of the Executive Support Team, the post holder will ensure the smooth management of the Chief Executive's office, supporting decision-making, governance, stakeholder engagement and organisational leadership activities. The role requires sound judgement, political awareness, discretion and the ability to anticipate and respond to competing priorities within a fast-paced and complex environment.

Executive Assistant Working under the direction of the Executive Support Team Leader, the Executive Assistant will operate with a high degree of autonomy, managing complex demands on behalf of the Chief Executive while contributing to the continuous improvement and resilience of executive support services across the organisation.
