Cutandmaintainlawnsandgrassareastoavarietyoffinishes(finetoroughmeadowtype)usingavarietyofmachines, includingpedestrianoperated, tractors&ride-onmowers, strimmersandbrushcutters, andincludingfertilizerandpesticideapplication.
Useandoperateavarietyoftools, machinery, andequipment, inaccordancewith Groupandmanufacturersguidelines, inordertofulfilduties.
Planandexecutesmallscalelandscapingoperations, asdirected, toenhancetheappearanceofourcommunalgrounds.
Removeleaves, mossandsnowasrequired, andapplysalt/gritasdirected.
Respondpromptlytoactsofvandalism, includinggraffiti, andreportallincidentstotheneighbourhoodhub.
Onthejobsupervisionandcoachingofapprentices/traineesfromtimetotimeasdirected Reportanyrepairsordefectsincommunalareastomaintenancedepartment/linemanagerandfollowupactionsasrequired.
Reportsuspectedbreachesofthetenancyagreement/leasetothe Housing Services Managere. g., anti-socialbehaviour, subletting, rubbishdumping, itemsleftincommunalareasetc.
Providecoverintheabsenceofothercolleagues.
Beapointofcontactforresidents, assistwherepossibleorreferenquiriestocolleagues.
Beawareofvulnerablecustomersand, whereappropriate, highlighttheirneedstoyourlinemanager/Housing Team Actinafriendly, polite, andprofessionalwayatalltimes, evenwhenchallengedbyresidentsorvisitorstotheestate.
