Keyresponsibilitiesinclude: Recycling Advisor Conductsurveysandassessmentsofresidentialpropertiestounderstandcurrentrecyclingbehavioursandidentifybarrierstoparticipation.

Engagedirectlywithresidentsthroughdoor-to-doorvisits, communityeventsandroadshowstopromotefoodrecycling, packagingrecyclingandgeneralwastereduction.

Providetailoredadviceandpracticalinformationtoresidentsaboutthecorrectuseofrecyclingservices.

Monitorparticipationlevels, capturefeedbackfromresidents, andhelpidentifyareasrequiringfurtherinterventionortargetedcampaigns.

Assistinthedistributionofleafletsandothermaterialstoencouragecorrectrecyclingpractices.

Supportcommunicationcampaignsandsocialmediacontentbyfeedinginlocalinsightsandexamples.

Maintainaccuraterecordsofvisits, surveys, engagementactivitiesandresidentfeedback.

Workcloselywithotherteams(e. g. collections, communications, enforcement)tohelpaddresslocalrecyclingchallenges.

Undertakeotherduties, commensuratewiththegrade, asmayreasonablyberequired.

Aboutyou Recycling Advisor Goodgeneraleducation(e. g.

GCSEsorequivalent).

Experienceofworkingdirectlywiththepublic, ideallythroughoutreach, communityengagement, salesoradvisorywork.

Awarenessofrecycling, foodwasteandwiderenvironmentalissues(trainingcanbeprovided).

Relevanttrainingincustomerservice, communityengagementorsustainability Experienceofrecordingandreportingdataaccurately(e. g. surveys, CRMsystems, Excel).

Confidentcommunicator, abletoengagewithresidentsfromarangeofbackgroundsinapoliteandpersuasiveway.
