WorkingaspartoftheCorporateHRandOrganisationalLearningservice,andreportingtotheOrganisationalDevelopmentManager,youwilloperateasatrustedorganisationaldevelopmentpartnertoseniorleaders,managersandservicesacrosstheCouncil.YouwilldiagnoseorganisationalandworkforcedevelopmentneedsanddesignpracticalinterventionsthatsupportthedeliveryofCouncilpriorities.
AkeyfocusoftherolewillbesupportingtheCouncilsPeopleStrategyprioritiesandCulturetransformationwork.YouwillhelptranslatetheCouncilsvaluesanddesiredcultureintomeaningfulbehaviours,leadershippracticesandemployeeexperiences.Thiswillincludesupportingcultureandengagementinitiatives,leadershipandmanagementdevelopment,staffsurveyactivity,talentandsuccessionplanning,coaching,learninganddevelopment,andorganisationalchange.
YouwillworkcollaborativelywiththeODManagerandcolleaguesacrossHRandOrganisationalLearningtodevelopanddelivercorporateODpriorities.Youwillalsobuildeffectiverelationshipsacrosstheorganisation,understandthechallengesfacingindividualservicesandtranslatetheseintoevidence-basedorganisationaldevelopmentsolutions.
TherolewillsupporttheCounciltoembedsustainableculturalchange,strengthenleadershipcapability,improveemployeeengagementandcreatetheconditionsinwhichcolleaguescanperformattheirbest.YouwillevaluatetheimpactofinterventionsandensurethatorganisationaldevelopmentactivitydeliversmeasurablebenefitsfortheCouncil,itsworkforceandresidents.
Weareproudtoofferahybridworkingarrangement,providingcolleagueswiththeflexibilitytoworkfromhome.Thesuccessfulcandidatewillbeexpectedtoworkfromtheofficeforaminimumof2daysperweekandmustbeflexibletoattendtheofficeorotherlocationsmorefrequentlywhenorganisationalorprojectneedsrequire.
