Tohaveindividualresponsibilityformentoringamonitoredcaseloadofparticipants,actingasanadvocateforeachindividualandbeinganintegralpartofamulti-disciplinaryteamtosupporttheindividualswiththeirgoalsbothpersonalandprofessional.
ToadheretothestrictfidelityandqualityassurancerequirementsoftheSupportedEmploymentQualityFramework(SEQF)modelofsupportedemployment,ensuringparticipantshaveastructuredandmonitoredpathwaywhilstonprogramme.
EmploymentSpecialistToworkwithkeystakeholders,servicedeliverypartners,statutoryandnon-statutoryorganisationstopromotethesupportavailabletothosehardesttoreach.
EmploymentSpecialistToprovideflexiblesupporttotheprogrammeintheareaandworkoccasionalunsocialhours,providingapersonalisedparticipantledservicetomaximiseaccessibilitytoConnecttoWorkfortheidentifiedeligibleindividuals.
Toprovideazero-rejectionemploymentservice,undertakingvocationalprofilingwithparticipantsinlinewithguidelinesanddevelopingarobustplanofactionforthedurationoftheirtimeonproject.
ToworkcloselywithexternalserviceproviderssuchasAneurinBevanHealthBoard,placesofrefuge,drugandalcoholsupportservices,mentalhealthpractitioners,specialistlearningfacilitiesandotherrelevantbodiesasandwhenrequired.
ToworkcloselywiththeEmployerLiaisonOfficertoensuretheyenableparticipantstoachievesustainedemploymentalongsideyourguidanceandexpertise.
Toprovideinformation,adviceandguidanceregardingthesupportavailablefromtheprogrammetokeystakeholdersandparticipants.
Toundertakeworkwithotherteammembersinsupportingparticipantstopreparefortrainingandemployment,createsmoothtransitionsforparticipantstootherservicesintheworkandskillsdepartmentwhenneeded.
Toidentifyalternativeemploymentoptions,guidedbytheparticipantsvocationalprofiletoensureappropriatevacanciesaresourcedinlinewithrequirements.
Toverifyjoboutcomesthroughevidenceoremployercontactandtoberesponsibleforensuringallparticipantsoutcomesarerecordedaccuratelyandbeyondthissupporttheparticipant&employerwithupto6monthsofsupportwhilstinworktoensureemploymentissustained.
