Applications Portfolio Manager – Enterprise Applications

Key relationships/Functional links with: Applications Lead
/n

- Internal: Executive Directors, Directors, Service Group Managers and other staff across the Council as appropriate, mainly key users of Oracle Cloud in HR and Payroll.
/n
- External: 3rd party suppliers currently working with Lewisham, other IT suppliers, Government departments, other Public Sector organisations
/n
/n
Main Responsibilities and job activities: Applications Lead
/n
/n
- Investigating complex Oracle HCM incidents raised by business users through to fix and resolution.
/n
- Managing system developments and changes from specification through to implementation.
/n
- Overseeing Oracle Cloud quarterly updates, testing and other essential maintenance
/n
- Coordinating feeder system integrations into Oracle Cloud within the PaaS solution.
/n
- Working in collaboration with the 3rd party technical support provider
/n
- Providing advice and guidance to stakeholders on best use of Oracle Cloud.
/n

Experience and skills required: Applications Lead
/n
/n
- Experience of leading on the technical management of Oracle Cloud HCM modules including Core HR, Payroll, Absence Management, Time and Labor, ORC, BIP Publisher
/n
- Experience of maintaining and configuring Oracle Cloud HCM modules to meet business requirement and troubleshoot and fix issues
/n
- Experience of using service desk systems to manage user queries through to resolution
/n
- Experience of change management processes, systems configuration and testing techniques
/n
- Knowledge and understanding of Local Authority IT functions and requirements
/n
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Ability to communicate at all levels with clients, colleagues, partners and external organisations.
