We are looking for a driven, ambitious and commercially minded Recruitment Consultant/Trainee Recruitment Consultant to join our growing recruitment business on a fully remote, home-based basis. This is a sales-focused recruitment role and would suit someone who enjoys speaking to people, building relationships, winning new business and working towards targets.

You do not necessarily need previous recruitment experience. However, you must have at least 2 years proven sales or telesales experience and be comfortable making a high volume of outbound calls.

The Recruitment Consultant will be responsible for developing relationships with both clients and candidates, identifying new business opportunities and managing the recruitment process from initial contact through to placement.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Making outbound sales and business development calls
  • Generating new clients and developing existing relationships
  • Identifying and developing new business opportunities
  • Speaking with candidates and understanding their career requirements
  • Sourcing and interviewing suitable candidates
  • Building and maintaining a strong candidate network
  • Matching candidates to suitable vacancies
  • Managing the recruitment process from initial contact through to placement
  • Negotiating with clients and candidates
  • Working towards and exceeding individual sales and placement targets
  • Maintaining accurate records and keeping the CRM up to date
  • Providing an excellent level of service to both clients and candidates

What We're Looking For:

  • Minimum 2 years' sales or telesales experience
  • Proven ability to work towards and achieve targets
  • Confident and professional telephone manner
  • Comfortable making outbound sales calls
  • Strong communication and relationship-building skills

Recruitment experience is desirable but not essential. We are particularly interested in candidates who have a successful background in telesales, B2B sales, B2C sales, business development, estate agency, insurance, telecoms, recruitment or other target-driven sales environments.
