Responsibilities:

• Set up and operate laser welding machinery with precision, following technical specifications and safety protocols.
• Prepare materials by measuring, cutting, and positioning sheet metal or components using hand tools and power tools.
• Perform TIG welding and other related welding techniques as required for various fabrication tasks.
• Inspect finished welds for quality, consistency, and structural integrity using visual inspection and measurement tools.
• Maintain a clean and organized workspace, ensuring all equipment is properly calibrated and maintained.
• Collaborate with team members on assembly processes, ensuring seamless integration of welded parts into larger assemblies.
• Follow detailed work instructions and documentation procedures to track production progress and quality standards.

Qualifications:

• Proven experience in laser welding, TIG welding, or similar precision welding techniques.
• Strong mechanical knowledge with the ability to interpret technical drawings and specifications.
• Proficiency with hand tools, power tools, and basic math skills for measurements and calculations.
• Familiarity with fabrication processes involving sheet metal and metal assembly.
• Knowledge of safety practices related to welding and fabrication environments.
• Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced setting.
• Prior experience with welding or equivalent regional techniques is a plus.
