Chartered Surveyor Overseethemanagementoftheoperationsofthe Councilscorporateportfolio, suchasindustrialestates/businessparks, markets, County Farms, grazing, harbours, retailincluding Riversideshoppingcentreetc.
, ensuringtheportfolioisfitforpurposeandmeetsservicedeliveryneeds, seekingtoreducerevenueexpenditurewherefeasible.
Chartered Surveyor Togetherwiththesenior Propertyleadershipteam Fosteramodelofabusinesspartneringapproachtopropertymanagementwithinternaldepartmentswithintheauthority.
Workingalongsidethe Headof Property, Economic Development&Regenerationtoensureassetvaluationsarecarriedoutinaccordancewith CIPFAguidance.
Contributetotheimplementationofbusinessimprovementsandidentificationoffurtheropportunitiestoimprovetheefficiencyoftheservice.
Thereisfullandongoingresponsibilityforthesupervisionofthe Property Asset Managers(surveyors).
Thisincludestherecruitmentandselectionofstaff, allocatinganddirectingwork, performancemanagement, identifyingtrainingneedsandrespondingtoanymattersrelatingtosicknessabsenceorconduct.
