Transport & Allowances Officer role is 37 hours per week, 7.4 hours per day Mon-Fri Transport & Allowances Officer

Transport & Allowances Officer will be joining a Team where every day is different so if you don't like variety, this isn't for you!

You will help organise School transport for Plymouth Students. many of whom have SEND.

Customer service skills are a must due to the high volume of calls we take which we answer as a Team.

We take calls between 7-5 Mon -Fri solving issues as they arise.

The early shift is in Ballard House alongside some of your colleagues and you are required to be here from 06.45 to ensure you are up and running for the phones at 7am.

You require a knowledge of Plymouth, its road systems and the surrounding areas.

Using planning software, you will be planning routes to ensure they are efficient, cost effective and within guidelines.

A knowledge of MRI Education is an advantage and training will be given.

A working knowledge of Microsoft 365 is a must.

We work in a fast paced environment which can require last minute decisions so students can travel. You must be able to work under your own initiative and as part of a Team.
