Corporate Performance Manager in London

Core Responsibilities

• Framework Implementation: Lead the organisation-wide Performance and Insight Framework, ensuring compliance with corporate objectives and statutory local government metrics if public sector.
• Executive Reporting: Produce high-quality, decision-focused performance dashboards, scorecards, and narratives for the executive board, cabinet members, and senior leadership.
• Data & Trend Analysis: Interrogate performance data to draw out root causes, track operational efficiency, and identify risks or opportunities for continuous improvement.
• Strategic Benchmarking: Oversee annual benchmarking processes against relevant industry peers and best-in-class standards.
• Digital Transformation: Support the digitalization of performance management systems, using data automation and modern BI tools to improve corporate reporting.

Required Experience & Skills

• Performance Governance: Substantial experience leading enterprise or corporate performance management arrangements, including KPI tracking and governance routines.
• Stakeholder Influence: Proven ability to engage, challenge, and align senior directors, cabinet members, and cross-functional business heads
• Analytical Software: High proficiency in data models, spreadsheets, CRM, and BI software tools (e.g., Power BI, GA4)
• AI Capability: Emerging requirement for workplace experience utilizing AI tools (like ChatGPT or automation workflows) to scale data insight and speed up analysis.
• Strategic Qualifications: Degree-educated background preferred (e.g., Business, Finance, Economics) or professional management equivalents.
