Responsibilities Lgv Driver
- Safely operate Class 1 LGV flatbed trucks, adhering to all traffic laws and safety regulations
- Prepare and inspect vehicles before each journey to ensure roadworthiness and compliance
- Load and secure goods onto flatbeds with precision, ensuring proper weight distribution and stability
- Plan optimal delivery routes to meet deadlines while minimizing fuel consumption and travel time
- Deliver goods directly to customer sites or distribution centers, maintaining professionalism at all times
- Complete all necessary documentation, including delivery logs, inspection reports, and route sheets
- Communicate effectively with dispatch teams regarding delivery status, delays, or issues encountered during transit
Skills Lgv Driver
- Proven experience as a commercial delivery driver, preferably with flatbed operations
- Valid Class 1 LGV license with a clean driving record
- Strong knowledge of road safety regulations and transportation laws
- Excellent driving skills with the ability to handle large vehicles confidently and safely
- Experience in securing loads on flatbeds using appropriate straps and restraints
- Good organizational skills for route planning and documentation management
- Ability to work independently while maintaining a high level of safety awareness
