Role Description The Site Joiner is a full-time, on-site role based in Morley, working on a range of commercial and residential construction projects. Day-to-day responsibilities include carrying out first and second fix joinery, installing doors, frames, skirtings, architraves, and other timber components to specification. The role involves interpreting drawings and site instructions, measuring and cutting materials, and ensuring accurate and high-quality finishes. The Site Joiner will collaborate with site supervisors, forepersons, and other trades to coordinate tasks, maintain a safe working environment, and meet project timelines. The position also includes maintaining tools and equipment, following health and safety procedures, and contributing to a positive, professional site culture.
Qualifications
- Strong practical joinery skills, including first and second fix carpentry and use of hand and power tools.
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings, plans, and site instructions.
- Good understanding of site health and safety practices and willingness to follow company procedures.
- Relevant trade qualification or apprenticeship in carpentry/joinery, or equivalent on-site experience.
- Reliable, punctual, and able to work effectively as part of a site-based team.
- Full UK driving license and ability to travel to the Morley site and other local projects as required.
- Experience in both commercial and residential construction environments is beneficial.
