Location: Cambridge

Salary: £26,228 per annum (full-time equivalent, dependent on experience)

Basis: Fixed-term contract (6 months). Full-time, part-time or flexible

Eligibility: You must be eligible to work in the UK

The role involves working closely with the finance team to support the Foundation across all its entities. You will report to the Financial Controller and be responsible for day-to-day admin processing for the finance team. The role requires someone who is organised, process-driven, conscientious, and efficient, with a strong focus on accuracy.

The ideal candidate will have:

  • Excellent interpersonal and organisational skills
  • The ability to handle multiple priorities
  • Strong communication skills
  • Experience in a similar role

Responsibilities include:

  • Managing the finance inbox, including filing, answering, and escalating emails as needed
  • Managing Zendesk - internal ticket system, assigning tickets to the team, answering queries
  • Completing centralised purchasing of goods and services for all entities within the Foundation’s group
  • Entering invoices/receipts onto the finance credit card and coding as per PO
  • Administering Monday.com boards ensuring information is up to date
  • Verifying new suppliers' bank details via email/phone call
  • Supporting the finance team with processing and filing financial paperwork
