The 17th century Port Gaverne Hotel is nestled in a beautiful, secluded cove near Port Isaac on North Cornwall's dramatic coast. Relax in our traditional old bar with slate floors, wooden beams and a wide range of proper ales served alongside seasonal, quality food inspired by the bounty on our doorstep.

The Port Gaverne has 15 ensuite rooms, each individually furnished. Please note, our rooms are situated on two floors of the building and because the building is very old, we do not have access to an elevator. All rooms are accessible via a narrow, steep staircase with low ceilings, keeping the natural beauty of the place intact.

The beautiful, peaceful North Cornwall Heritage Coast is on our doorstep, with the beach just moments away. Part time opportunity! Do you want to work in a fun, fast-paced environment as part of a talented team? Join us as one of our bar or waiting team and you’ll be joining passionate people who do much more than serve and pour; you’ll enjoy building relationships with our regulars whilst providing memorable experiences to delight our visitors.

What we offer:

  • 30% off food and drink and 50% off overnight stays in our pubs
  • Discount scheme across hundreds of retailers
  • In house training programmes to support progression and learning
  • Meal provided for shifts over 6 hours
  • Family-friendly, flexible working
  • Paid time off to volunteer

We are passionate about creating a warm welcome for everyone, take pride in keeping everywhere clean and tidy, and are key to keeping our front of house running seamlessly.
