The business is now entering a focused growth phase across the UK, Europe and Globally. RAS SCI currently works with 8 of the UK top 10 Retailers and over 4,000 Vendors.
Role Description
This is a full-time remote role with regular travel across the UK and some Europe/global travel. The successful candidate should be based in the UK (but we will consider the right candidate living in Europe), with a strong preference for individuals with experience and networks across the European retail market. As Business Development Manager, you will be responsible for building and converting a structured commercial pipeline across retail supply chains. This is a front-line commercial role focused on generating new business, opening new relationships, and converting opportunities into long-term contracts. You will work closely with senior leadership but will have clear ownership of pipeline creation and revenue generation. This role exists to establish a dedicated commercial capability within the business, moving away from reliance on organic growth and operational relationships.
Remuneration
- Base Salary: £50,000 (or Euro equivalent for EU-based candidates)
- On Target Earnings: £75,000+ are very realistic
- Uncapped commission linked to gross margin performance
Commission is structured to reward profitable growth. Full commission is earned on deals achieving a base gross margin percentage, with reduced commission below this threshold unless pre-approved. All commission is validated against invoiced and collected revenue, ensuring strong financial control and alignment with business profitability.
