Job Summary: A great opportunity if you’re looking to build a career in retail and e-commerce with an internationally recognised online retailer, selling over 2 million products across entertainment and home. As E-Commerce Product Coordinator, you’ll work directly with the Head of Ecommerce and Website team, along with our external supplier partners at major record labels and distributors to create an exciting music product offer on our website that drives sales and conversion. You’ll meet regularly with leaders in the music retail industry and our marketing team to showcase new releases and promotions at the optimal times and prices. You’ll also get involved in email and social marketing, learning how to build effective campaigns and work cross-departmentally to give our customers the best overall experience.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage a portfolio of music products, ensuring listings are accurate, engaging and up to date, maintaining high standards of product data integrity.
  • Work with record labels and supplier partners to launch new releases and promotional campaigns on the Rarewaves website.
  • Help plan and merchandise promotions, ensuring products are featured at the right time and price.
  • Monitor upcoming music releases and industry trends to identify merchandising opportunities.
  • Analyse product performance and identify opportunities to improve sales and customer experience.
  • Support website merchandising, collections and promotional activity across the music category.
  • Work closely with colleagues across Ecommerce, Marketing and Customer Service to ensure successful product launches.

Skills & Experience

Essential

  • Previous experience in ecommerce, retail or merchandising.
  • A passion for music, with an interest in new releases and industry trends.
  • Strong organisational skills and the ability to manage multiple tasks.
  • Excellent attention to detail and a commitment to data accuracy.
  • Good working knowledge of Microsoft Excel.
  • Strong communication skills and a willingness to build relationships with suppliers and colleagues.
  • A proactive attitude and confidence working independently.

Desirable

  • Experience using an ecommerce platform or content management system.
  • Knowledge of music metadata or catalogue management.
