JOB TITLE: AI WORKFLOW PRODUCER

The Role Rare TV are looking for an AI Workflow Producer to take a strategic and creative lead in Rare TV's use of AI. The successful candidate will be a creative collaborator who is excited by the difference AI can make across production and business processes. Experience of making television or long form content is essential, alongside demonstrable proficiency in working with agentic and Gen-AI.

Rare TV is an independent production company making premium and popular factual content for broadcast, streaming and AVOD. Our teams use AI responsibly to support and enhance our work in ways that are consistent with our reputation for authentic factual programmes.

Experience & Skills

  • Experience in factual TV production β€” Candidates will have a genuine understanding of how programmes are made and the ability to demonstrate sound editorial judgement.
  • Proven proficiency with AI tools and platforms - a track record of using them in a professional context.
  • Strong working knowledge of tools such as Claude code - a demonstrable interest in building or adapting AI tools to solve real workflow problems.
  • Creative judgement β€” the ability to balance efficiency gains against the demands of storytelling and production quality.
  • Strong communication skills - an ability to bring non-technical colleagues along on the journey and build trust across a production team.
  • A resourceful and curious approach – comfortable exploring new technology and turning it into practical, usable solutions.

Desirable

  • Edit experience or familiarity with edit software and workflows.
  • Experience of workflow automation tools e.g. Zapier, Make, n8n, Airtable, Notion, Google Workspace, Microsoft 365 or similar.
  • Ability to create training guides, demos and best-practice playbooks for AI tools.
  • Awareness of broadcaster and streamer guidelines around the use of AI and copyright in factual programming.

Role Details

  • Location: LONDON
  • Contract: 6 months (initial period)
  • Reports to: Creative director
