I am working with a friendly and ambitious software house in the Ipswich area who have a vacancy for a talented Java Developer. Working as part of a small team, this is a varied role that will see you contribute to projects that will have a significant impact on the business. Working across the full software development lifecycle, you will collaborate with both internal stakeholders and customers to scope and develop new features for their platform, create new integrations, enhance existing features/integrations and contribute towards the overall support of the platform. Alongside this there will also be opportunity to take part in more research-oriented projects which will afford you the chance to work with new technologies and prototype advanced systems features.
To be successful you will likely have:
- A solid grasp of Java development fundamentals and opensource frameworks such as Spring and Hibernate.
- Excellent problem-solving skills.
- The appetite to get involved with all aspects of the development lifecycle from requirements gathering through to successful delivery to customers.
