This is a great new permanent vacancy for an experienced Software Developer, with strong Java experience, to work on a hybrid basis for an Ipswich based software house.

In your new position you will work within a collaborative, cross functional team to design, develop and support their mature software products. This will see you mentoring junior developers, modernising code / deployment processes and contributing towards technical decisions.

To be successful you will likely have:

  • 4-8 years developing web or client-server applications.
  • Strong experience with:
    • Java (8+) and Spring framework
    • Relational databases (SQL Server, Oracle, etc.)
    • Git version control
    • Object-oriented programming
    • Experience supporting production systems.
    • Knowledge of CI/CD tooling
