This is an excellent opportunity for an Information Security Assurance Officer to join an exciting business in Ipswich In your new role you will take ownership of information security governance, assurance and the ongoing development of an ISO 27001-aligned Information Security Management System for a high profile programme of work.

Alongside this you will oversee security controls across corporate and project systems, manage security assessments and supplier assurance, maintain audit documentation and support incident response.

As the onsite expert you will also cover Microsoft 365 security, identity and access management, endpoint protection, vulnerability management, SIEM monitoring and collaborate with managed security partners.

What you will need to succeed: Experience in information security assurance and cyber security operations Strong knowledge of ISO 27001, Cyber Essentials Plus, NIST CSF and UK GDPR Experience with Microsoft Defender, Sentinel, EDR/XDR and vulnerability tools Incident response and SOC experience Strong stakeholder management and reporting skills Experience in a regulated environment would be beneficial What you will get in return: Salary up to £58,000 Annual bonus Private medical insurance Pension, life assurance and income protection 25 days’ holiday ...
