About You
You’re a senior designer who is first and foremost a visual communicator. You don’t just make things look good. You use design to express ideas, create meaning and stop people in their tracks. You have strong taste, sharp judgement and a clear point of view. You can take an idea and elevate it visually, whether that’s through a bold layout, a smart visual device or a simple but unexpected execution. You’re comfortable coming up with ideas of your own and working alongside creatives to push concepts further. You can explain and defend your design decisions with confidence, and you know how to critique others’ work in a way that makes it better. You’re confident working across formats and channels, and you understand how an asset will live once it leaves the screen. Whether it’s a digital display, printed environment, social post or experiential build, you think through execution as much as aesthetics. You’re comfortable working with producers and third-party suppliers, and you understand how design choices affect production, budgets and timelines. You lead by example, stay hands-on and help raise the standard of visual thinking across the team.
The Role
As a Senior Designer, you’ll play a central role in shaping the visual thinking of the agency. You’ll work closely with the Creative Director to ensure the design output is not only beautifully executed, but conceptually strong and creatively ambitious. You’ll lead the visual execution of campaigns across social, content, experiential and brand touchpoints, working collaboratively with creatives, producers and account teams. You’ll be responsible for day-to-day design sign-off while working collaboratively with the Creative Director on pitches and bigger projects. You’ll contribute to creative thinking early in the process and push work to a level that excites clients and audiences alike. Alongside this, you’ll help manage design workflow, mentor junior designers and support hybrid creatives working across 3D and motion.
Experience
- 5+ years’ experience in a design role, ideally agency-side.
- Strong proficiency in Photoshop, Illustrator and InDesign as a minimum.
- A portfolio that demonstrates strong visual judgement, layout, typography and concept-led design.
- Experience working across social, content, experiential and brand-led projects.
- Confidence presenting work and explaining design decisions to both internal teams and clients.
- Experience working with producers and third-party suppliers, with an understanding of how design translates into physical and digital execution.
- The ability to manage multiple projects at pace without compromising quality.
