Role Description
The role sits within the Red Stream – a planning team of nine people responsible for working on business across UM & McCann, including clients such as AMEX, Just Eat, Network Rail. As part of the Red Stream the key relationships will be with other members of the Rapport planning, Trading and Operations Teams, as well as the agency planners at UM & McCann. Key internal relationships are with the Business Director, Account Director, Senior Account Manager and Account Manager at Rapport.
The Account Executive’s day-to-day role will be to support senior members of the planning team whilst developing their knowledge and understanding of OOH and the role it plays for our clients. We require an individual who has excellent attention to detail, great knowledge of standard applications (such as Excel and PowerPoint) and is looking to develop quickly.
Key Responsibilities
- Market and competitive analysis and reviews
- Post-campaign analysis
- Supporting team with information to include within plans / presentations such as Audience Data and Insights
- Organising photography of campaigns and supplying to clients – including occasionally going out of the office to take emergency shots of OOH sites
- Working with the creatives agencies to ensure they have all artwork specifications and ensure everything is delivered on time and scheduled correctly
- Keep up-to-date with market trends and new developments
- Learn about the role of OOH in our client’s media mix
- Develop an understanding for the clients we work on and show a passion for their products
- Support senior members of the team to balance workload across the team, helping with general administration and organisation
