We're looking for a confident and creative Meetings & Events Coordinator to join our team at a prestigious client site in the City of London. The client is a multinational financial services company. In this role, you'll be part of a driven team that brings all on-site meetings and events to life - turning ideas into seamless, engaging experiences. From planning through to delivery, your eye for detail and passion for hospitality will ensure each event leaves a lasting impression. You will be part of a team of 3 in the Events team. However, you will be part of a wider team of 15 across two buildings.

Contract type: Full-time, 12-months Fixed-term

Hours: 40 per week (Monday-Friday; shift rota basis between 7 AM and 7 PM, with flexibility for overtime as per business needs)

Salary: £32,500 per annum

Main Responsibilities

  • Manage incoming meetings and event enquiries and respond in a timely, professional manner.
  • Log and update all booking details using internal systems.
  • Serve as the key contact and liaise between the host, catering, facilities, health & safety, and other building vendors such as security, engineering, and janitorial.
  • Coordinate the planning and delivery of all aspects for meetings and events, taking ownership for each event from the initial enquiry and availability through to the delivery and follow up of all bookings within the timescales required.
  • Prepare tailored proposals and manage budgets carefully.
  • Oversee all logistics on event days, ensuring high standards throughout.
  • Support reporting, feedback collection, and continuous improvement.

The ideal candidate will:

  • Ideally have at least 2 years of experience in hospitality or meetings and events, covering both admin and operational duties.
