This role represents an excellent opportunity for a Transport Planner seeking to join a vibrant, people-focused organisation, offering the chance to learn directly from three experienced Directors. It also presents a clear promotion opportunity for an ambitious Graduate Transport Planner with around two years’ experience who is ready to take the next step in their career.

Your Work Will Include:

  • Preparing technical reports such as Access Appraisals, Transport Statements, Transport Assessments, Travel Plans and WCHARs with support from senior colleagues and Directors.
  • Carry out junction capacity modelling and CAD design work.
  • Carry out day-to-day project management of projects, with support from senior colleagues and Directors.
  • Mentor junior colleagues.
  • Liaise with stakeholders, external project team members and clients.
  • Represent the company at meetings, public consultations and exhibitions.
  • Undertake site visits.
  • Actively carry out business development for the company.
  • Management of own workload with support from senior colleagues.

Our Requirements:

  • Experience in working on developments within a range of sectors including residential, commercial and education.
  • Working knowledge of traffic (junction & strategic) modelling software.
  • Understanding and experience in working on strategic development sites.
  • Knowledge and experience in liaising with stakeholders.
  • Sound understanding of the plan-making process and impact on transport-related assessment work.
  • Full UK driving licence.
  • The Right to Work in the UK indefinitely (we are unable to provide visa sponsorship now or in the future).
