Are you ready to take your career to the next level? We have an opportunity for a Senior/ Principal Transport Planner to join our growing, multidisciplinary consultancy based out of either our Bedford or Cambridge office or across both.

Your day-to-day work with us will include:
- Preparing technical reports such as Access Appraisals, Transport Statements, Transport Assessments, Travel Plans and Active Travel Audits with support from colleagues.
- Undertaking junction capacity modelling.
- Reviewing CAD Design work by others, such as swept path analysis and simple access layouts.
- Project management of projects, with support from colleagues.
- Assisting with the financial management of projects, from drafting fee proposals to invoicing, with support from colleagues.
- Liaising with stakeholders, external project team members and clients.
- Representing the company at meetings, public consultations and exhibitions.
- Undertaking site visits.
- Accompanying other team members to local industry events and CPD where necessary.
- Managing your own workload with support from colleagues.
We are looking for:
- Experience of working on developments preferably within a range of sectors including residential and commercial.
- A working knowledge of traffic modelling software (junction & strategic).
- Understanding and experience of working on a range of scales of development, including strategic development sites.
- Knowledge and experience in liaising with stakeholders.
- Sound understanding of the plan-making process and impact on transport-related assessment work.
- The Right to Work in the UK (we are unable to provide visa sponsorship now or in the future).
