Overview

Role: Senior Account Manager

Reporting to: Senior Account Director

Hybrid: 3 days in the office / 2 days remote

Duration: Fixed Term Contract, 6 months

The Role

We are looking for a bright and confident Senior Account Manager to work on one of the largest accounts at RAPP. We have had the account since 2002 and the client satisfaction scores have consistently been among the highest in the agency.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Taking the lead on key projects; working with the wider team of data planners, planners, analysts, selections, PMs, and the account team to define and scope projects as well as ensure the successful delivery of the final campaign.
  • Working across a mix of data driven campaigns across direct channels e.g., DM, email and digital media to deliver multi-channel campaigns.
  • Building robust relationships with clients and colleagues across the TVL team and wider agency.
  • Working collaboratively with creative teams, the client, and key stakeholders to deliver hardworking and smart creative that delivers against the overarching strategy and objectives.
  • Ability to be flexible and adaptive to work across multiple teams and projects.
  • Working with the PM team to deliver exceptional work on budget.

The Opportunity

This account is likely to be the most multi-faceted and strategic account you will work on – for three reasons:

  • We are the client's out-sourced marketing team, which means we have greater input and direction on the marketing strategy and the communications.
  • Part of your job is to communicate to every household and business in the UK – developing campaigns across multiple channels.
  • You will get to work and learn from some of the most talented people in the industry, both within our internal team, but also industry experts in strategy, data, research, and behavioural sciences.

This is a unique role. You won’t just get involved in creative communications, you also have the opportunity to shape customer experiences across all channels including digital, F2F and the call centre, building broader marketing skills. You will be involved in the commercials, building business cases, operations, plus exposure to senior stakeholders.

The Requirements

  • An established Senior Account Manager, with experience in direct and digital CRM campaigns, across a range of channels, but particularly Email and DM.
  • Reporting into and supporting a Senior Account Director, the candidate will have both strong strategic and delivery skills.
  • Passionate about data and comfortable working with strategy, data planners and other data teams to deliver exceptional work, that works.
  • Proven experience of building strong relationships with clients, different departments, and 3rd parties.
  • Excited to deliver dynamic creative work and able to harness our internal talent to optimise creative and design.
  • Strategic in approach and understands the need for insights and the importance of a killer creative brief.
  • Driven with a natural curiosity to learn, build knowledge and lead teams to deliver responsive and hardworking campaigns.
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills and attention to detail.
