THE ROLE
As Account Director you will play a key role in our direct and digital marketing activity. You'll be reporting into an experienced Senior Account Director and working within a Client Partnership team of 20.
THE OPPORTUNITY
You’ll get to work on one of the biggest accounts in the agency and still growing with a 45-strong team (including Client Partnership, Strategic Planning, Project Managers, Data Planning, Analytics and Service Delivery). This is a highly strategic and varied account, as we communicate with every household in the UK – across multiple channels. Part of its uniqueness is that our client has outsourced its whole Marketing function to RAPP. So, not only do we get to lead the Marketing objectives and strategy that drive real behaviour change. But we also manage the implementation of that strategy all the way through to selecting the data to target, delivering the creative (across multiple channels) and analysing performance. You’ll get to work closely with senior members of our client and our talented team of experts and SMEs at RAPP. We have had the account since 2002 and the client satisfaction scores have consistently been among the highest in the agency.
Data, insights and performance are at the heart of what we do, and you’ll be working as part of our team on our direct marketing campaigns, developing customer insight driven creative that is engaging and effective. You’ll be taking the lead on key projects: Working with the wider team of stakeholders, data planners, planners, analysts, and the account team to define and scope projects, through to successful delivery of the final campaign.
THE REQUIREMENTS
- Currently an Account Director with experience in direct and digital CRM campaigns, across a range of channels, but particularly Email and DM
- Passionate about data and comfortable working with strategy, data planners and other data teams to deliver exceptional work, that works
- Strong strategic and delivery skills
- Proven experience of building positive relationships with clients, different departments, and 3rd parties
- Excited to deliver dynamic creative work and able to harness our internal talent to optimise creative and design
- Strategic in approach and understands the need for insights and the importance of a killer creative brief
- Driven with a natural curiosity to learn, build knowledge and lead teams to deliver responsive and hardworking campaigns
- Excellent written/oral communication skills and attention to detail
