Senior Party Wall / Building Surveyor

We now have an exciting opportunity for a Building/Party Wall Surveyor to join our Bristol based team. The Bristol office is a busy multi-disciplinary practice in the region with a broad client base, primarily operating within the commercial sector. This is a truly exciting time to join the business as we undertake our new growth and development plans. We are open to hybrid roles across these disciplines and to anyone relocating to the area.

The successful candidate, who will be chartered and at senior surveyor level, will also be supported with actively participating in networking events, client development and becoming involved with local groups/professional bodies.

Key responsibilities include:

1. To work across the Neighbourly Matters and Building Consultancy teams.
2. Undertaking a range of professional instructions including Party Wall matters, dilapidations, technical due diligence acquisition surveys, schedules of condition, PPM’s and feasibility studies.
3. Advising clients about building/property issues, which can include technical, financial, legal, environmental/sustainability, building regulation, and restoration matters.
4. Produce defined and accurate instructions to external consultants to undertake detailed planned maintenance surveys, structural surveys etc as and when required.
5. To produce reports to clients on building consultancy projects.
6. To present at client meetings.

Person Specification

1. Able to work autonomously and as part of a team
2. Full clean driving licence
3. Predominantly commercial sector experience
