Rapleys is a multi-disciplinary property consultancy, offering building consultancy, commercial, planning and residential property services to clients, operating from eight offices across the UK.
Rapleys Residential Development Consultancy Team provides development consultancy, valuation and agency advice to a wide range of registered providers, local authorities, private sector developers, private equity and institutional funds. The team is currently providing advice on a number of significant urban regeneration projects, edge of settlement expansion and new garden village settlements as well as large residential led greenfield and brownfield development projects. The team advises on projects across the UK with support from our offices in Manchester, Birmingham, Bristol, Cambridge and Edinburgh.
The role presents an exciting opportunity to join our growing residential development consultancy team, with exposure to a wide range of instructions. Drafting formal valuations for registered providers in connection with their developments, including Red Book valuations, s106 package deals and market values for new build stock; Drafting Financial Viability Assessments (FVA) to be included in planning submissions; Producing residential valuation and development advice to local authority clients on a wider range of matters:
- Following appropriate training
- Knowledge of Affordable Housing would be an advantage
- Good report writing, numerical and communication skills
- Clean driving licence
