Job purpose
We have an exciting opportunity for a highly motivated residential development agent to join our expanding Rapleys Living Team as an Associate Partner. The Rapleys Living team is focused on maximising the potential of new or existing sites for residential development. The multi-disciplinary teams work to add value through the development lifecycle. The primary activities are Agency disposals and acquisitions of residential opportunities as well as providing development consultancy and strategic advice to landowners, developers and companies.
Key responsibilities include:
- To operate within private, affordable, BTR and care/retirement residential sectors
- To manage on behalf of the client the full land and acquisition process including marketing developer selection and legal completion
- Provide effective strategic development advice including advising on development options to optimise returns
- Assist and advise clients through the added value process including planning promotion and application
Person specification:
- Driven, self-motivated individual with at least 7 years direct experience in acquisition and disposal of residential development opportunities
- The ability to bring an existing client base and an extensive contact list
- Detailed practical knowledge and experience of the sale and acquisition process including private treaty, promotion and option agreements and auctions
- To be flexible to deal with residential development opportunities throughout the UK
- A good working knowledge of the Argus Development Appraisal package
- A full clean driving license
