As a Senior Electronics Technician, you will play a key role in bringing electronic designs to life across our scanning systems. Working closely with engineers and cross‑functional teams, you will support the full product lifecycle—from concept and prototyping through to production and continuous improvement.
Responsibilities
- Design & Prototyping
- Build and validate electronic prototypes
- Create PCB layouts from schematics
- Collaborate with internal teams and suppliers
- Develop 3D‑printed components where required
- Testing & Validation
- Develop and execute test plans
- Use equipment such as oscilloscopes and multimeters
- Documentation & Support
- Produce CAD drawings and BOMs
- Support production, commissioning, and field service
- Contribute to product improvements
- Lab & Infrastructure
- Maintain the electronics lab and test equipment
- Manage component libraries and PCB data
Qualifications
- BTEC Level 3, HNC/HND, or equivalent in Electronic/Electrical Engineering
- Strong soldering and cable assembly experience
- Experience with test equipment
- Experience with PCB software (e.g. Altium)
Desirable
- Degree in Electronics/Electrical Engineering
- Experience in manufacturing or PCB environments
- Knowledge of embedded systems, microprocessors, FPGAs
- 5+ years’ relevant experience
