Logistics Manager – Transport & Customs will be in charge of the day-to-day operation of the logistics and supply chain activities. The job involves ensuring the correct transportation, scheduling, and inventory management for service delivery schedules. Logistics Manager works closely with internal teams and external partners to implement best practices and support continuous improvement initiatives.

Responsibilities
  • Oversee end-to-end transport planning, including carrier selection, route optimization, and cost control.
  • Manage customs processes for imports and exports, ensuring compliance with all relevant regulations (EU, UK, global).
  • Manage day-to-day logistics operations including transport scheduling, shipment tracking, and documentation.
  • Prepare and maintain shipping documentation and manage transport bookings with carriers and freight forwarders.
  • Ensure compliance with international customs regulations and manage import/export documentation in collaboration with our partners.
  • Analyze logistics performance data and identify areas for process improvement.
  • Provide guidance and support to field service teams regarding transport planning, customs procedures, and issue resolution.
  • Provide general support across all spare parts supply chain activities, including warehouse operations, transport coordination, and planning.
Qualifications
  • Proven experience in logistics coordination, transport management, supply chain management or similar.
Required Skills
  • Strong interpersonal skills with a positive, can-do attitude.
  • Solid understanding of international shipping and import/export procedures.
  • Verbal and written communication skills in German, good English skills are advantageous.
  • Ability to participate effectively as part of a team.
  • Efficient time management skills and ability to prioritize.
  • Proficiency in MS Office products (Outlook, Excel).
  • Familiarity with ERP systems (MS Dynamics) is a plus.
