The Opportunity
We are looking for a dynamic and experienced Sales Manager to lead our SaaS training solutions sales across the EMEA region. This is a high-impact role for a strategic thinker with a strong background in SaaS sales, aviation security (AVSEC) training, and regulatory compliance.
Key Responsibilities
- Sales Strategy: Develop and execute a robust sales plan tailored to the AVSEC training and regulatory sector.
- Business Development: Identify and engage high-potential clients, including C-level executives and government stakeholders.
- Customer Engagement: Build strong relationships with airlines, airports, civil aviation authorities, and international regulators.
- Bid & Tender Management: Lead proposal development aligned with regulatory and funding requirements.
- Regulatory Collaboration: Serve as a trusted advisor to aviation regulators, aligning our solutions with evolving compliance needs.
- Product Expertise: Articulate the value of our SaaS and training products to diverse stakeholders.
- Sales Cycle Management: Own the full sales process from lead generation to deal closure.
- Market Analysis: Monitor trends and competitor activity in the AVSEC training space.
- Reporting: Deliver accurate forecasts and insights to senior leadership.
What We’re Looking For
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Aviation Management, or related field.
- 5+ years of experience in SaaS sales.
- 5+ years in AVSEC training, with deep knowledge of industry standards and practices.
- Proven experience working with international aviation regulators (e.g., ICAO, CAA, EASA).
- Experience with government funding and working with government officials.
- Background in airport screener standards, image analysis, and CBT is highly desirable.
- Prior experience selling training software or regulatory compliance solutions is a strong plus.
Security & Compliance Requirements
- Must pass a Background Check (CRC) and Counter Terrorism Check (CTC).
- Must have the right to live and work in the UK.
- Must be eligible for SC level security clearance.
