Rapiscan Systems, a wholly owned subsidiary of OSI Systems, Inc., designs, manufactures, and markets industry‐leading security and inspection technologies used across the world. Our systems help secure airports, seaports, borders, critical infrastructure, and government and military facilities by detecting weapons, explosives, narcotics, contraband, and other threats.

We are seeking an experienced Commercial Contracts Manager to join our EMEA team. This remote‐based UK role reports to the Senior Contracts Manager EMEA and will support a broad portfolio of complex commercial and international government contracts, with a strong emphasis on managing our network of distribution, resale, and service channel agreements across the region. This is a high‐impact position requiring excellent commercial judgement, strong communication skills, and the ability to work independently while collaborating with senior leadership across multiple business functions.

Key Responsibilities
  • Administer a wide range of complex commercial and international government contracts, including supply agreements, framework agreements, NDAs, teaming agreements, consultancy agreements, and compliance‐related documentation.
  • Review and analyse contractual terms to ensure alignment with laws, regulations, and internal company policies.
  • Identify and manage contractual, commercial, and compliance risks throughout the contract lifecycle.
  • Prepare and maintain sales and service channel agreements (distribution, resale, authorised service provider).
  • Draft bespoke agreements tailored to customer and business requirements.
  • Lead negotiations for a broad range of commercial contracts, ensuring approvals are obtained via the company's contract management platform.
  • Partner with the Bids & Proposals team to analyse contractual requirements in solicitations, bids, and tenders.
  • Prepare necessary legal documents, including powers of attorney and supporting submission materials.
  • Work daily with senior leaders and colleagues across Sales, Service, Finance, Procurement, Manufacturing, Engineering, Program Management, Compliance, and the OSI Group Legal Department.
  • Act as custodian of records for assigned tenders and contracts and train new users on the company's contract management platform.
  • Support internal compliance processes, including anti‐corruption and export control procedures.
  • Promote consistency and integrity in commercial commitments across the region.
  • Report process violations and support continuous improvement initiatives within the Contracts Department.
Experience & Attributes
  • 7+ years of experience in a contracts or legal function within a complex international organisation.
  • Demonstrated expertise in drafting and negotiating complex commercial and government agreements.
  • Strong commercial acumen with the ability to identify, evaluate, and mitigate risks.
  • Excellent organisational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to prioritise effectively.
  • Outstanding verbal and written communication skills, with confidence interacting with senior executives.
  • Proven ability to build strong relationships, influence decisions, and collaborate across diverse teams.
  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and other contract management tools.
  • Ability to handle confidential information with professionalism.
  • Foreign language skills (advantageous but not required).
  • Flexibility to travel occasionally.
Qualifications
  • Law degree.
  • Additional qualifications in contract law, commercial agreements, or international contracting (desirable).
  • Experience in the security, screening, or threat‐detection industry (beneficial but not essential).
