The Trade Compliance Analyst supports the implementation and day-to-day operation of the company’s trade compliance programme, ensuring import and export activities are conducted in accordance with applicable UK, US, EU, and other relevant regulations.

The role will be primarily remote, with occasional travel within the UK to our Stoke-on-Trent and Redhill offices as required, along with approximately 10% global travel.

  • What You Will Be Doing
  • Conduct denied party, sanctions, embargo, and anti-boycott screening activities.
  • Review sales orders and assess compliance requirements.
  • Prepare and manage export license applications including SIEL, OGEL and OIEL.
  • Support export control classification activities.
  • Maintain tariff codes and classification data.
  • Support visitor screening and approvals.
  • Maintain export control records.
  • Support compliance procedures, tools and training.
  • Collaborate with UK and global compliance teams.

What We're Looking For

  • Minimum 3 years' experience in trade compliance.
  • Strong knowledge of UK export control regulations.
  • Exposure to US EAR regulations desirable.
  • Excellent analytical and communication skills.
  • Ability to interpret regulations in a commercial environment.

Desirable Experience

  • Microsoft Dynamics 365 (D365)
  • OCR, Descartes or similar screening tools
  • ECO/NCO change processes
  • HTS classification
  • ECCN and UK Strategic Export Controls
