We are seeking a Bulgarian-speaking Field Service Engineer to ensure the optimal performance of Rapiscan systems across Bulgaria. This role requires strong diagnostic and troubleshooting capabilities, the ability to work independently, and a proactive approach to customer service. This is a field-based position involving extensive travel (up to 100%, both domestic and international).

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform installation, maintenance, and servicing of Rapiscan systems as directed
  • Ensure all service activities meet contractual response times and reporting standards
  • Communicate effectively with customers during preventative and corrective maintenance visits
  • Coordinate with internal teams to ensure timely delivery of parts and materials
  • Maintain field service tools, test equipment, and documentation
  • Provide accurate and timely reporting via Oracle and mobile systems
  • Support and collaborate with other Field Service Engineers when required
  • Adhere to company safety standards and operational procedures
  • Manage service documentation in line with company policies
  • Remain on-call and utilise company-provided tools (laptop, phone) as needed
Requirements
  • Fluency in Bulgarian (essential), with good English communication skills
  • Minimum 5 years of experience supporting complex technical equipment in a service environment
  • Degree in Electronic Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or related technical discipline (or equivalent experience)
  • Strong knowledge of electronic, mechanical, and digital systems
  • Experience with networking, software/firmware, and database systems
  • Ability to manage both technical and administrative responsibilities effectively
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office; experience with ERP systems (e.g., D365) preferred
  • Self-sufficient, with strong problem-solving and decision-making skills
