The Role

As a Senior Electronics Technician, you will play a key role in bringing electronic designs to life. Working closely with engineers and cross-functional teams, you will support the full product lifecycle from concept through to production and continuous improvement.

Key Responsibilities

  • Build and validate electronic prototypes
  • Create PCB layouts from schematics using tools such as Altium
  • Develop and execute test plans using equipment like oscilloscopes and multimeters
  • Support verification and validation activities
  • Liaise with PCB manufacturers and subcontractors
  • Produce engineering documentation including CAD drawings and BOMs
  • Maintain electronics lab and test equipment
  • Provide troubleshooting support to production and field teams

About You

Essential:

  • BTEC Level 3, HNC/HND in Electrical/Electronic Engineering or equivalent
  • Experience with soldering, cable assemblies, and test equipment
  • Experience using PCB design tools (e.g. Altium)

Desirable:

  • Understanding of electronic principles
  • Experience in PCB design or test environments
  • Exposure to embedded systems, microprocessors, or FPGAs
