Key Responsibilities as an HLOP Driver:
- Safely operate HLOP trucks to move, load, and unload stock throughout the warehouse
- Transport materials efficiently while maintaining warehouse safety standards
- Accurately update stock records using Warehouse Management Systems (WMS)
- Complete daily equipment checks and report any faults or maintenance requirements
- Support shipping and receiving activities as required
- Carry out manual handling tasks when necessary (lifting aids and handling equipment provided)
- Work collaboratively with colleagues to maintain productivity and operational efficiency
Requirements for HLOP Drivers:
- Valid and in-date HLOP licence/certificate (essential)
- Previous warehouse and forklift operating experience
- Good understanding of material handling procedures and health & safety regulations
- Experience using WMS is advantageous
- Strong attention to detail and basic numeracy skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Physically capable of safely handling goods when required
